Motion - Support Question 2010x 04x 27x 214314

IP Camera Aviosys-9060AK: Unable to open video device.

Question

Hi,

I get "Unable to open video device."

I am using few IP cameras Aviosys-9060AK http://www.aviosys.com/ip9060akplus.htm

i tried:

- trunk version 511

- port forcing for netcam_url

- netcam_url like "mjpg://"

- netcam_url for snapshot.jpg

motion.x86_64 3.2.11.1-3.fc12

ffmpeg.x86_64 0.5-5.20091026svn.fc12

mysql.x86_64 5.1.45-2.fc12

Snapshot.jpg in browser is OK.

Videostream in other software is OK (showing).

What should else i try?

Thank You for help in advance.

BRGDS Pavel

PS My small grant - 50$ for solution with both

netcam_url http://192.168.0.106:80/snapshot.jpg

and

netcam_url http://192.168.0.106:80/cgi-bin/Stream?Video

Answer

Some description of reasons of this problem, and direction for solution could be found here:

http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=62947

if i am lucky, i find the solution for Motion. But at first i'll try Zoneminder.
