Feature Request: ffmpeg_video_codec xvid
Description
It would be nice to produce xvid-videos directly instead of converting them from msmpeg4 / mpeg4 through ffmpeg. -- WolfgangAndreas - 24 May 2005Follow up
While this feature is not implemented you have several options :- Use vloopback and capture from some application ( i.ex ffmpeg ) and create videos with xvid codec ).
- Use on_XXXXXX option config from motion.conf and launch a shell script to encode the video to any format.
