Feature Request: Motion should just spawn an external program to encode video instead of linking ffmpeg

Description

I'm trying to use motion to create videos to display on the web and wanted to create MP4 and VP8 files. Those are not options in motion and even if they were I'd like to fine tune other encoding settings. Right now if I want to encode a VP8 file I have to let motion first encode the video (as a video file or as frame jpegs) and then transcode that into VP8 with a subsequent loss of quality.

A much simpler way of supporting video encoding now would just be to pass the uncompressed frames to a script like on_movie_end and then let the user pipe that into the /usr/bin/ffmpeg himself. That way all the version incompatibilities of linking to ffmpeg get taken out of motion and the user gets a lot more flexibility.
