Motion streaming not displaying image properly

Question

I am trying to stream the image from my camera plugged in to a pixelview playtv pro tv card, using bttv drivers. The .jpg images are coming out perfectly - but when I view the mjpeg stream i only get grey "ghost" and some blue colour around the edge... and only get picture when there is motion. I checked the config , and it is set to stream the whole picture, not only the motion parts. How can i fix this? See attached image ...

Motion version:	3.2.3
ffmpeg version:	0.4.9pre1
Libraries:	ffmpeg, mysql
Server OS:	fc3

Answer

You have in motion.conf setup_mode on you have to set to off that's to see a normal images in the stream.
