Motion - Support Question 2006x 05x 31x 101440

mj-prox on port 443?

Question

Thanks for answering my question 2006x05x27x123932. /kabi was my cgi directory, but I forgot to set the script alias directive in httpd-conf. The system works now fine with 3 cams, tested in various locations, except in my office where the firewall blocks non-standard html (the mjpeg stream) on port 80. Previously, I have used cambozola only for one cam, without mj-prox, on port 443, which is not filtered by the firewall, directly to the motion webcam server on port 443. Any chance that I could get mj-prox to broadcast on port 443?

Environment

Motion version: 3.2.6
ffmpeg version: none
Libraries:
Server OS: Debian 3.1 Sarge 2.6.8

Answer

Use the virtual host feature in Apache and serve the /kabi subdir on that.
