Motion - Support Question 2008x 07x 31x 193659

Not Working in IE

I have tested on Firefox 2 & 3, and the Motion works great. However, When I open( http://mydomain:8081) in IE, it keeps asking me to download a file with blank page.

So, I've tried different configs. but no luck.

Can Someone guide me to set it probably?

I have set this , but nothing works in IE.
# Output for http server, select off to choose raw text plain (default: on)
control_html_output on

Motion version:
ffmpeg version:
Libraries: ffmpeg, mysql, postgresql
Server OS:

Are you sure you are looking at the control port? It sound more like you look at the webcam stream

Remember to define a port number for both webcam stream and control port and - they cannot be the same port number!

The webcam stream cannot be viewed in IE. That is a limitation of IE. FF can show an mjpeg stream. With the Java applet Cambozola you can view a stream also in IE. See the documentation.
