Motion - Support Question 2009x 06x 29x 002334

at a total loss

Question

I am a total beginner. I installed it but I don't know where. Where do I go from here? The guide does not help any. How do I get the commands to work? How do I change how often it takes a picture? I keep getting to the same place. I don't know how to get anywhere else. what do I type like 'sudo' and all of that. Where and how do I use things like 'framerate'? Please help!
