No video after trying chmod/palettes/etc.

Question

I have Ubuntu 12.04 with Motion 3.2.12 from packages and camera is /dev/video1

I'd used the camera with GUVCview and Zoneminder without problems, but I like motion more.

Camera is used in Zoneminder with YUYV mode and 320x640.

I've tried different palettes, chmod 0777, sudo, video1 (which exists, video0 does not)
