Is it possible to record or capture IP Camera using motion in realtime ?

I have Raspberry Pi

I want record my IP Camera using motion in realtime even no motion were detected and split the video ex : Hourly , Daily , Monthly then output look like 29-03-2014.flv , 30-03.2014.flv and so on

But when i trying record to flv and the video is just 2 second and the size is growing ex : 1 MB , 4 MB , 10 MB I have tried the time lapse set up but the video is too fast and not realible to view

Paste in your error messages, config settings, terminal window output etc in this text field.
