ws.con is a data transverter that replaces UI-view/UI-weater running on a PC in a unmanned solar-driven digipeater station in the APRS net. So its master advantage is the low power consumption (200mAmps at 5Volts) instead of the consumption of a PC which is about 100 times higher.
